Health and Psychosocial Initiative / Guidance and Counseling Services

At RACMI, we believe that a healthy population forms the foundation of a thriving nation. Through our Healthy People – Healthy Nation agenda, we focus on promoting well-being and resilience among individuals and communities. Our initiatives address critical health and psychosocial challenges through the following programs:

  • WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Health) Projects and Social Businesses:
    Improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities in rural communities to foster healthier living conditions.

  • HIV/AIDS and Malaria Prevention Campaigns:
    Raising awareness about prevention methods and providing education to combat these life-threatening diseases.

  • Psychosocial Support for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA):
    Offering counseling and emotional support to help individuals manage their condition and live fulfilling lives.

  • Hospitals and Medical Aid Ministry:
    Providing medical assistance and resources to underserved communities, ensuring everyone has access to essential healthcare.

  • Support for Victims of Drug Abuse, Child Abuse, and Human Trafficking:
    Delivering psychosocial care and tailored support to help victims recover and rebuild their lives.

  • Rehabilitation and Reintegration Programs:
    Facilitating recovery and reintegration for victims of drug abuse, child abuse, human trafficking, and natural disasters, enabling them to regain their independence and dignity.

Guidance and Counseling Services

RACMI provides comprehensive counseling services to address a wide range of individual and societal challenges. Our programs include:

 

  • Individual and group counseling.
  • Personal-social, marital, and stress management counseling.
  • Educational, vocational, and HIV/AIDS counseling.
  • Specialized support for victims of human trafficking, child abuse, drug abuse, and prison inmates transitioning back into society.
  • Pre-retirement and retirement counseling to support life transitions.
